1968 Plymouth Roadrunner

$
20500.00
Plymouth built the Roadrunner from 1968 through 1980 and would be built on its B-platform. They were expecting to sell roughly 20,000 units its first year, but in reality they sold nearly 45,000. Even by 1968 some of the muscle cars had started moving away from its roots and offering some creature comforts and features even in big power cars. Plymouth on the other hand was trying to stay true to the Muscle car wars and offering big power with not much else like basic vinyl bench seats and a very Spartan interior. Even the base motor was a 383 producing 335 HP which was pretty stout. This particular really sweet unit is an excellent driver quality car with a nice stock interior, clean engine bay, trunk and landau top. The paint is nice with a few blemishes. Basically a couple spots of orange peel and some very minor bubbling on the underside of the rockers. This “Roadrunner” fires right up and goes down the road nicely with an excellent sound. This is a Power Brake car so it also stops nicely as well.
